FORECAST AS A SUBGENRE IN PRINTED MEDIA AND THEIR ELECTRONIC VERSIONS

The study is devoted to the forecast as one of the still insufficiently studied speech genres. Forecasting assumes a special significance in the period of sociopolitical instability, when society is interested in looking into the future, so that it was possible to prevent all sorts of negative consequences. Various forecasts such as information and analytical genres are constantly broadcast through the media. This determines the problems of this research and its relevance. The research is based on Russian federal and regional publications and their electronic versions.

“CONDENSATION OF GENRES” AS A TREND IN MEDIA SPHERE

The article analyzes media genres interaction through the primary media sphere genre – news. The author gives opinions of researchers on the mixing of genres, lists genres which have undergone significant changes in the modern media sphere. The analysis is based on the news from the regional media field – one of Novgorod’s Internet resources. Analysis of four news texts published in November 2017 shows that the news includes a report, a journalistic story, an academic article, an announcement, a biographical note.

ASPECTS OF FRANKNESS OF THE REFUSAL BASED ON PERSONAL PRINCIPLES (CATEGORICAL REFUSAL)

Russian frankness in a linguocultural aspect has been researched by some Russian linguists, such as E. M. Vereschagin, V. V. Dementyev, etc. A vast list of literature referred to this issue can be found in the dissertation of M. M. Naumova. The article suggests considering frankness as one of the constants of Russian linguoculture through the speech genre of refusal. The above mentioned genre is a large communicative phenomenon. Categorical refusal is a speech genre which requires frankness leading to effective communication.

Russian Language Literacy Test: Intellectual Flash Mob or Speech Genre?

The phenomenon of «Total dictation» (the annual educational event of the Russian language literacy testing) is analyzed in the article from the point of view of its communicative and speech genre characteristics: communicative roles, intentions, communicative mode, communicative values, structural and semantic components.

The “Life” Concept in the Speech Genre of the Autobiographical Story: Constants and Transformation (Based on Dialect Speech)

The article deals with recent problems of correlation of a speech genre and culture and fits into the context of modern researches in cognitive, dialect genre studies and cognitive dialectology. A key concept for Russian culture “Life”, functioning in dialect autobiographical texts, recorded in Tomsk region from the middle of the 20th century till the present time, is described in the article. These texts are considered as a speech genre. Ideas about life, which do not change or change over time under the influence of certain factors, are identified.

Instructives in Network Discourse

The article deals with a speech genre “instructives” in network discourse. Its basic feature is intention to help a communicative partner and it is represented in advice, recommendation and instruction. Its two main types include responsive and initiative instructives, the former express an explicit problem, a request to solve it and a reaction to it whereas the latter contain preactive advice.

The Classification of Speech Genres of Institutional Discourse

The article is devoted to classification problem of speech genres. The research urgency is caused by the lack of a common typology of speech genres. It is noted that the classification of speech genres, the basis for which was the concept of institutionality, includes four groups namely: authentic, complementary, peripheral and external. In the proportional ratio range of authentic genres does not exceed variety of complementary and peripheral genres.

Speech Genres as an Object of Computer Analysis (Based on Academic Texts)

This paper presents the proposition that a speech genre as a relatively stable form of mental activity implemented in the text can be considered an object of cognitive modeling. The article contains a review of discourse concepts used in the computer text analysis.

Mirilka as the Genre of Children’s Folklore

The article is devoted to the genre of mirilka (from the Russian «мир» – peace) as the form of the children’s verbal creativity which is the byways of learning in linguistics and folklore. The topicality of the research of the speech genre of mirilka is connected with the wide use of such texts by preschoolers. Moreover, it is due to the possibility of using mirilkas in the educational process aiming to form the ability of overcoming conflicts and interacting constructively with peers in games.

Pragmatic Aspects of TED Talks as a Specific Speech Genre (Through the Lens of Discourse Markers’ Use)

The article presents the analysis of the speech genre aspects of TED talks, identifies their place in the speech genre hierarchy, their reference to the communication sphere and specifies their chronotopos peculiarities. Genregenetic properties of TED talks, forming their model, are analyzed through the research of their pragmatic framework constituted by discourse markers: through the aspects of discourse organization, the addressor and the addressee’s interaction, the author’s selfpresentation.
