Manuscripts Review Procedure
in International Journal "Speech Genres"
- All manuscripts submitted to the editorial office conforming to the subject matter of the Journal are to expert review and evaluation.
- For each article submitted to the journal we appoint two anonymous publisher’s readers from Russian and foreign scientists. All the reviewers are acknowledged experts in the sphere of Philology to which the article is dedicated, and have been publishing articles on the corresponding topic for the last 3 years.
- Reviewers are notified that the manuscripts are private property of the authors and this information is not the subject to disclosure. Reviewers are not allowed to make copies of articles for their needs.
- If a review indicates the need of correction, it is sent to the author for revision. In this case, the date of receipt of the article is the date of the receipt of the revised version of the article.
- The reader should evaluate importance of the theme, originality, scholarly armament and clarity of the language and then make a final conclusion about the article (accept, accept with revision, decline) and write a short statement/comment.
- The editorial board of the Journal send the authors the manuscripts copies of the reviews or a motivated rejection.
- If an author disagrees with reviewer’s opinion, he has the right to give a reasonable response to the journal. The article can be directed either for another reviewing or for approval of the editorial board.
- The editorial board of the Journal send copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation should a corresponding request be submitted to the editorial office of the Journal.
- Reviews of the articles are stored at the editorial office for at least five years.
