Back-handed compliment in the genre structure of interpersonal communication

The article examines backhanded compliment, its place in the structure of speech genres, correlation with politeness and linguistic characteristics. It is shown that, from the perspective of intentionality, it is represented by two types: 1) awkward compliments indicating the speaker’s linguistic or emotional incompetence; 2) ‘insults in disguise’.

Genre “master-class” in the structure of polygenre and polymodal gardening discourse

The article deals with the genre of “master class” within the structure of gardening discourse. The author attempts to identify the discourse forming features of the genre in three different communicative forms: spoken live communication, online coaching, and to analyze the researched empirical material focusing on the linguistic features of the discourse. The proposed analysis is carried out using general scientific methods, incorporating interpretive method, contextual analysis, and comparative analysis.

COVID-19 discourse as a specific type of discourse in the structure of the university Internet portal (based on the Russian and German materials)

The article presents the analysis of linguistic and cultural features of COVID-19 discourse. The current research is an attempt to identify the discourse-forming features of the given discourse as well as to analyze the empirical material focusing on its genre and language features. The analysis is based upon general scientific methods, with the use of interpretive methodology and contextual analysis.

Особенности стилистики произведений французского писателя Андре Моруа

Изучение художественных текстов выполняет задачи исследования языковых особенностей и стилистических приемов определенного автора. Литературные произведения отражают индивидуальный авторский подход к использованию языка как средства передачи человеческой мысли и видения мира. Отличительной чертой одного автора от других является непосредственная самобытная реализация: особенности проявляются в выборе формы произведения, а также в совокупности использования различных языковых средств как грамматических, так и лексических.

Лингвокультурные особенности covid 19-дискурса в структуре интернет-портала вуза (на материале русского и немецкого языков)

Статья посвящена анализу лингвокультурных особенностей covid 19-дискурса в структуре интернет-портала вуза. Предпринимается попытка выявить дискурсообразующие признаки заявленного дискурса, а также проанализировать исследовательский эмпирический материал в фокусе жанровых и языковых особенностей. Предлагаемый анализ проводится с помощью общенаучных методов, с использованием интерпретативного метода и контекстуального анализа.
