Text transformation under the influence of the genre system of communicative internet space social media services (based on english-language political sites)

The article addresses the problems of computer-mediated communication and convergent characteristics of Internet contributing to genres 2.0 system formation and development, which has essentially transformed the basic notion of the text. The notion of political media text is specified within new media context, main characteristics of media texts are defined and an attemp of media texts typology building as well as linguistic analysis on their lexical, morphological and syntactical levels is made.

Modern linguists are trying to solve the problem of determining the boundaries of the genre, its variability or transition to another genre. But until now this issue remains controversial. The article is devoted to the problem of the functioning of the speech genre in various spheres of communication.

ANTHROPOMORPHIC METAPHOR IN THE GENRE OF THE ANALYTICAL REVIEW “RESULTS OF 2016” IN THE RUSSIAN PRESS

The author examines the conceptual idea of the development of Russia in 2016, reflected in the genre of analytical review in online publications of various (progovernment and opposition) socio-political, ideological orientation, and represented through metaphors formed within the framework of the anthropomorphic conceptual macromodel. The paper identifies the most actual models and their variants of anthropomorphic transfers in the media under investigation.

DYNAMICS OF RITUALISTIC GENRESIN POLITICAL DISCOURSE

The article provides a brief overview of research works devoted to the ritual discourse as well as the analysis of the dependence of the degree of rituality on the type of discourse, genre, and extralinguistic factors. The article also gives an insight into functioning of ritualistic genres in British, American, and Russian political discourse in terms of diachronic and synchronic analysis.

Dialogical Genres of the White House

The objective of the research. The research deals with the description and classification of the dialogical genres of the modern political discourse of the United States, namely of the White House. The study was carried out using the method of classification and the descriptive method from the discourse positions, taking into account the social actors using these genres: politicians, journalists and the audience.
