An inner silen scene in autocommunication

The present article continues and develops the topic of the article “A Silent Scene in view of the speech genre theory”. The phenomenon of an inner silent scene (ISC) remarkably enhances the autocommunicative dynamism of inner speech. The basis for an ISC can be seen in critical moments within our verbal and thinking activities – new inner and outer signals causing more or less meaningful reorientation of our attention.

Cognitive-operational and speech-genre universalism of the oxymoron

The article attempts to explicate the stylistic figure of the oxymoron as a phenomenon that shows the representation in the sphere of language of a specific property of human consciousness and the picture of the world structured by it – the presumption of the unsubstantial nature of opposites and the possibility, on this basis, of their discursive actualization in the formulas of semantic synthesis.
