The article deals with the problem of the genre originality of official congratulations on National Unity Day. The research is based on official congratulations on National Unity Day, posted on the official accounts of government bodies and officials on the social network and messengers. The purpose of the paper was to establish the genre specifics, as well as the features of verbalization of the idea of integrativeness in the official congratulations on National Unity Day. The study adopted a rhetorical-pragmatic approach.

In relation to serious global climatic changes, there is an activation of speech acts within the framework of ecological discourse. The analyzed material allows discussing the emergence of a new type of speech genre of debates, such as environmental debates (ED). TV companies organize ED as part of election campaigns and for the purpose of obtaining information about the current processes from specialists of related fields. ED differ from classical debates in a number of their characteristics.

Considering effective communication, linguists traditionally focus on the type of the addressee and the conditions of their interaction with the addresser. The paper analyzes some transformations of oral genres on the Internet, including public discussions on the role of Orthodox faith in modern life, the functions of the religion in the spiritual and moral education of the contemporary society and its relation to the scientific breakthroughs of the 21st century. The analysis of video materials shows that their main addressee is the youth audience.
