Implicit expression of political stance in political weblogs

The article analyses the ways of implicit expression of the political stance of bloggers. The relevance of the topic under study is determined by the increased influence of non-institutional means of communication on political processes. Blogs, social networks, and messengers have become an important tool of communication among members of civil society, as well as platforms for expressing citizens’ positions. The expression of a blogger’s political position does not always occur directly and explicitly.

Речевой жанр криминальной угрозы и его специфика в интернет-коммуникации

Предпринимается попытка исследовать криминальную угрозу как речевой жанр проявления вербальной агрессии. Утверждается, что угроза чаще всего встречается в текстах современной интернет-коммуникации, характеристика которой близка к синтетической устно-письменной форме общения и разговорному жанру. Подчеркивается, что в современных исследованиях угроза рассматривается с юридической и лингвистической точки зрения. Обосновывается мысль о том, что высказывания угрозы существуют двух основных типов – угроза-предупреждение, включающее каузируемое действие, и угроза-наказание.

An Internet comment as a speech genre: Axiological aspect

The article presents the analysis of evaluation in the speech genre “Internet comment” and focuses on the ways and means of its expression. The research is based on the comments on Instagram (organization banned on the territory of the Russian Federation) posts about sports, namely figure skating. The authors of the article define two relevant factors determining axiological characteristics of the Internet comment: anonymity of Internet communication and the desire of many users to stand out from other commentators.

Shaming as a Speech Genre

The article views a speech genre shaming understood as a person’s public censure or criticism leading to cultivating in them a feeling of shame or guilt, which contributes to their loss of reputation and respect in an online community. The author also clarifies the designation and underlying intentions which give an opportunity to delimit shaming from other Internet genres of aggressive nature (such as flame, trolling, holy war, hating, cyberbullying / sybermobbing, cyberstalking, and griefing) and to give its exact definition.

The space of social networks is improving very quickly, adapting to the needs of society. Until recently, the hashtag on social networks has been more of a tool for organizing and searching posts by topic; but today its function is expanding and deepening; new functions appear that require detailed analysis and description. Moreover, constantly evolving, the hashtag acquires the features of a self-contained text and even goes beyond social networks.

Internet memes in the structure of comic speech genres

The article describes the Internet memes that are widely used in the Internet sphere as a part of the comic speech genres. Internet memes are considered a specific type of precedent phenomena. The possibilities of achieving comic effect and identifying the speech genres that incorporate Internet memes are defined as a coincidence of elements of the cultural background of communicants and common presuppositions.

The article presents an analysis of the Instagram Internet service genre features. The place and importance of Instagram among Internet communication social services are discussed.

Genre individuality of steb in internet communication

The research is devoted to the consideration of mockery as a contemporary communicative phenomenon. The article describes trends of the modification in the genre mass media field, a characterization of some sociocultural background and preconditions of mockery’s origin is discussed, two variants of mockery – intellectual and marginal – are distinguished. Mockery as a sociocultural phenomenon appears as a result of carnivalization, critical evaluation and parody, which are based on the means of the comic – irony, satire, sarcasm.

Dialogism in the genres of internet communication (chat, forum, blog)

The article deals with the timely problems of modern communicative linguistics and virtual genristics. In the article, the essence of the dialogism category is defined in relation to both traditional communication (not technically mediated and non related with electronic media environment), and in relation to Internet communication, where the studied category has its own characteristics. With the base on the lexicographical sources, the differences in the conceptual content and the use of the terms «dialogism» and «interactivity» are established.

Polyformat messenger Telegram as a genre 2.0

The study is devoted to the concept of genre 2.0 development, the identification of problem areas of modern virtual genre studies and relevant approaches to its analysis. The article analyzes communicative, morphological, lexical, syntactic and paralinguistic features of communication in the messenger as a new genre 2.0 of Internet-communication.
