The article presents the results of the linguopragmatic analysis of three evaluative speech genres of the Internet communication: video reaction, trash review and nostalgic review. The study is based on Russian and English YouTube video blogs. Since video reactions, trash reviews and nostalgic reviews originated from the speech genre “Internet review”, their communicative purpose is to evaluate the quality of some content. Nevertheless, all three genres have a number of specific characteristics.

The article examines the imperative internet comment as a special genre of conflict internet discourse. The research was based on the study of two communities of the social network “VKontakte”, differing in the structure of social connections: vertical type (official community “VKontakte with authors”) and horizontal type (“Showbiz stars news”).

The article presents the analysis of different types of precedent phenomena in the genre of online blog posts. The author defines a network blog as a macrogenre of Internet communication and a post as its microgenre. The author describes the main characteristics of online posts peculiar to other Internet genres and establishes the consistency of their genre features with the use of precedent units in online posts.

The article examines the correlation between the media format in social media (for example, messages on a social network or instant messenger) and the genre as a typical communicative practice of using this format for certain pragmatic tasks. The theoretical ideas of the article are illustrated by the results of observation of social media messages collected using big data technology to study the image of the city of Arkhangelsk.

This paper analyses the use of the wishing genre among Russian young people. One of the features of youth speech is a shift from stereotypes, searching for new creative ways of expressing various intentions, such as evaluation, compliment, congratulation and wishing. The purpose of the study is to analyze the texts of wishes from the point of manifesting the linguistic creativity of the addressers; to identify the means and ways of destroying stereotypes.

The author attempts to explore the threat as a speech genre of verbal aggression. It is argued that the threat is most often found in the texts of modern online-communication, the characteristics of which are close to a synthetic oral-written form of communication and the colloquial genre. It is emphasized that in modern studies the threat is researched from a legal and linguistic point of view. The author proves the idea that there are two main types of threat statements – a threat-warning, including a causal action, and a threatpunishment.

The article deals with current problems of modern communicative linguistics and network genre studies. The author presents general characteristics of such a relatively new network genre as Internet commentary. The research emphasizes dialogical orientation of this genre, which meets the urgent need of Internet users for feedback and represents a media embodiment of the addressee factor that is in demand and meets the spirit of the times.

The article analyses the ways of implicit expression of the political stance of bloggers. The relevance of the topic under study is determined by the increased influence of non-institutional means of communication on political processes. Blogs, social networks, and messengers have become an important tool of communication among members of civil society, as well as platforms for expressing citizens’ positions. The expression of a blogger’s political position does not always occur directly and explicitly.
